The Town of Monson is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Town Manager. Monson, a small rural community located in the north central part of Maine with a population of 686 residents, has a town meeting form of government with a Board of Selectmen consisting of three members. With four employees and several stipend positions the town provides fire protection, public works, solid waste, water and sewer services. The total working budget is approximately $1.4 million dollars.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate: municipal management, budget design, computer organization and excellent communication skills. Candidates with comparable experience are urged to apply. This is a 35 hour per week position with salary and benefits.
