9AM—3PM AT THE MONSON GYM
Monson’s Kris Kringle’s Market committee is looking for Christmas trees made from recycled/reusable materials for their Christmas Tree Challenge.
Trees must be made from only recyclable materials, such as cardboard, plastics, aluminum cans, scrap metal or anything you can think of to construct a 5-6 foot tree.
The trees should be delivered to the Monson Gym on Saturday, December 2, 2017, between 8 and 9 am to be placed in front of the gym, where they will remain until 3 pm that day.
The public can cast their vote for the most creative tree by placing a $1.00 donation in a collection container in front of each tree(s). Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 creative trees. All donations from this competition will go to the Kris Kringle’s Market fund to purchase winter clothing for local children in need.
Competition details and entry forms can be picked up from the Monson Town Office or downloaded from the link below.
