Covid-19 Response

Monson Residents and Community:

In following with fellow town managers in the county and across the state, the town of Monson will have the following changes to town services and building use.

Effective Immediately:

-All town owned buildings are closed to public use.

-The town office will remain open for normal office hours, however, PLEASE call first and the office staff will do their best to meet your requests over the phone, email and mail. At this point we are not closing the doors and will not turn people away, but please use caution. We are looking to install a drop box on the front door to further help people avoid coming into the office. This will be reassessed on Friday 3/20.

-All meetings, events and recreation events scheduled by the town are cancelled or postponed until 4/3, at which time a reassessment of the need to continue or resume will be done.

-If there is a public works concern please directly them to the office and do not interact with the public works employee(s).

-The transfer station will be open this week but closed for two weeks after until the reassessment on 4/3.
